# Brand Credits

**Tokenized Brand Credits** enable brands to create custom, branded tokens redeemable for credit at  POS and online storefronts. These can be earned via cashback or purchased directly. These balances are stored as tokenized credits, specific to each brand. 

Tokenized credits represent a new paradigm that allows users to sell or transfer their brand account balances without those balances leaving the brand’s ecosystem. Hang Network’s permissioned marketplace matches sellers who want to cash out with buyers who want to load up their balances in order to purchase products from the brand.
