# Bounties

In addition to managing the **Protocol** and the **Portal**, the Hang Foundation will post bounties for external developers to build new modules, integrations, and additions to the ecosystem. We will also offer **Retroactive Grants** for develops who build useful features atop the Protocol without being asked.

In the future, we plan to offer a place for brands and developers to post and fund their own bounties directly on the network. For example, a brand with a POS that isn't yet supported by the [**Brand Oracle** ](/the-protocol/brand-oracle.md)could offer a bounty to a developer for building that integration.
